Vintage circa 1967 Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity pin in 10k yellow gold, with enameling and 12 seed pearls.
Alpha Phi Omega was founded in 1925 as a way to promote community service and leadership development among college students. While the service fraternity originated in the United States, it has expanded internationally with chapters in the Philippines, Australia and Canada.
Attached to the main pin is a smaller pin with the Greek letters for Pi Eta, representing the Pi Eta chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, which is located in Detroit, Michigan. There are also two charms of a scroll and a quill pen.
On the back of the main pin is engraved "ΠΗ J.B.G. 4-23-67 10k" with some other marks.
