14k Yellow Gold Vintage Garnet Seed Pearl Hinged Bangle Bracelet
This beautiful vintage garnet and seed pearl bangle cuff bracelet is oval shaped to better fit one's wrist.
The
garnet is dark, like a Bohemian garnet, and measures about 4mm by 6mm and is .50ct tw.
The seed pearls on either side of the garnet are approx. 2mm.
There is a fine gold rope winding around the front of the bracelet as an added embellishment.
The bracelet is 3/16" thick, 2-1/2" wide (outside measurement), and has an inside measurement of 6-1/4".
Tab clasp with safety chain.
The bracelet weighs 12.4 grams, and is marked 14k gold.
We
believe from the style this bracelet dates to the Edwardian period.
There is a small hole in one of the "leaves" at the front of the
bracelet. See last photo. Otherwise the bracelet is in excellent condition
for its age.
