An exquisite and rare large antique Chinese gold wash over 900 silver articulated koi fish pendant, circa 1940s.
Featuring detailed filigree work and careful attention to the free-moving parts from the fins to the body, that bring the koi fish pendant to life.
Two robin egg blue turquoise cabochons serve as the koi fish's eyes.
The koi fish's lower jaw can be opened to reveal a small compartment as well as the marks "China Silver".
Chain is for display purposes only and is not included.
Weighs 15.6 grams.
Fish pendant is about 3-1/2" long with bail by 1-1/8" wide by 3/4" deep.
Turquoise cabochons are about 4mm wide.
Excellent estate condition. Gently pre-owned.
